Senator Padilla did his job as the Senior Senator of California and the Ranking member on the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, and Border Safety by attending a briefing by Kristi Noem.  When she said that she was going 
to "liberate the city from the socialist and burdensome leadership that this mayor and this governor have placed on this country."  He attempted to ask a question.  Noem had him dragged from the room despite him clearly stating that he was ‘Senator Alex Padilla’.  Once outside the room he was forced to the ground and handcuffed by FBI Agents.
Prior to becoming the Senior Senator from California he was the Secretary of State for California.
We thank Senator Padilla for his service to this country and his fight to preserve Democracy.  I think it’s safe to say he has earned his place among those who cause Good Trouble.
