One of the most loved hidden treasures of Rome is the Giardini degli'arancia, on the Aventine Hill looking over St Peters and the Tiber.  The site was once the location of the Savella Palace and home to the Pope from the Savella family.  I was fortunate enough to spend the day painting there with a friend on my roman painting holiday.

The painting is done on 300lb gessoed watercolor paper and measure 14.5" x 10.25".  It comes mounted on foam board and ready to frame.
