Tsai Ing-Wen is the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan).  She has done a stellar job in managing the Coronavirus in her country, she’s arguably been the single most effective leader in the world on this with Taiwan recording only around 400 cases of the virus despite being highly at risk to it due to their ties to the PRC (China).

They accomplished this by rapidly producing and implementing a list of at least 124 action items in early January and enforcing strict measures in dealing with the virus. The policies go beyond border control because they recognized that that wasn’t enough.

Maybe it helps that Tsai Ing-Wen is a highly educated former professor with a long and distinguished career as a public servant.

Whatever the case, she shows what could have been had the entire world acted decisively and early in regards to Covid-19.
