I saw the blockbuster Alexander McQueen retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum. The dresses were magnificent, spectacularly crafted, creative and full of imagination. I found the dresses were evocative of myth and fairytale with secrets and stories to tell.

This dress had a bodice of scarlet red glass shards and a skirt of blood red Ostrich feathers shading into black.  Imagine it on Fire sprite, dancing, wildly on a stage in a dark and smoky room.  She is completely one with the music, on fire with the passionate beat...uninhibited and free.

My paintings are Oils on Yupo Paper, a brand new archival, American made plastic paper. The paper gives paintings a luminous quality that is unique to the medium. The painting is 8" x 10" .
